There are no published releases between 4.02.036 and 5.00.002.

• This version contains the first complete Beta release of the next generation Remote Payroll product. Please note that it is only available upon request and that, unless implemented by hh2 staff, all hh2 clients will remain on the previous generation of the product.

• The YTD pay amounts on pay stubs have been adjusted to include back to the start date of the first check cut in the calendar year.
• A new RSS feed has been added to notify when new employee evaluations have been submitted.
• The HR Security Group setup was modified to better handle adding all employees to a security group.

• The syncing of visitors into Timberline was not selecting the correct company. This has now been resolved.

• Integration with STO (Sage Timberline Office) service management is now available as a Beta release.
• In some scenarios, trips were not being sorted properly on the web dashboard. This has now been resolved.

• Closed jobs or extras will now be automatically excluded from the weekly time sheet.

• The material units have had its digit precision increased from 5 digits to 10 digits.

• There is a new sync automation under Default Settings to automatically assign employee classifications based on the occupation field of the employee record.
• The YTD addendum has been changed to reflect the year of the check date.
• The RSS feed for the daily sync log now correctly reflects downloaded records from HR.
• The employee list in the job and crew dashboard no longer require HR security group access.

• On touch devices (such as iPads) you can now tab the pay type grand totals in order to see the name of the pay type associated with that color.

• There is now an Activity Excel Report available from the menu that generates an Excel file with summaries of activity production units for all active jobs (i.e. jobs not in a “closed” status).

• The recent issues with Accrual Setup throwing an error have now been resolved.
• Crew lists both in the crew setup as well as the crew dashboard are now sorted alphabetically.

• Quotes have been added around the custom fields in the export file.
• Comments by the payroll manager now display in the labor detail reports.

• Equipment prefill was pulling from all jobs. This has now been resolved.

• Accrued, taken, and remaining hours for accruals were not calculating correctly on the employee record and My Records pages. This has now been resolved.
• The email for new user creation was not accepting addresses with hyphens. This has now been resolved.
• Archived evaluations were being displayed in the list in employee records. This has now been resolved.
• The descriptions of skills matrix items are now displayed as a mouse-over of each skill when filling out an employee evaluation.

• The Job Cost report now displays the job-specific names of cost codes rather than the standard cost code name.
• The email notifications for time to be approved would be blank if the “Site Url” option was not set. This has now been resolved.

• “Two or More Races” is now supported as an ethnicity on the employee record.
• The pay stubs can now optionally contain an addendum that lists all pay, tax, and benefit year-to-date totals.

• The system was not allowing users to input decimal values for material units. This has now been resolved.
• The contact management sync was failing due to a defect recently introduced. This has now been resolved.
• The sync exception RSS feed now displays whether the failure was an insert or an update and gives the Timberline record ID of the field report for update failures.

• Performance Increases: Some performance tuning modifications were made to the querying in the time card engine which should result in noticeable improvements of load time of the time card as well as saving time entries.
• No Approval on iPhone Timecard App: There was an issue in the iPhone Timecard app such that, if a company is not on a Sun-Sat pay period schedule, no time would show for approval in the app. This has now been resolved.

• Certifications Report Filter on Excel: The Excel download of the enterprise certifications report was not reflecting the certification selected in the filter. This has now been resolved.
• Raise Request Decision Defect: The Raise Request was not saving the value selected for decision when creating a new request. This has now been resolved.

• Inactive Companies/Contacts Being Uploaded: The hhÂ² Sync was uploading companies and contacts listed as “inactive” in Timberline’s address book. This has now been resolved and only active companies and contacts will be synchronized to hhÂ².

• Dispatch Map Technician Group Filter Defect: The Technician Group filter at the top of the dispatch map was not filter the technician list properly and no technicians would be displayed. This has now been resolved.

• iPad App 1.5 Released: A new version of the iPad app for Field Service has been released. This update is required for gaining the items listed below.
• Trip Status Time Issue Resolved: Trip status times were being recorded in Mountain Time Zone (where the hhÂ² web servers are located) rather than in the local timezone of the iPad being used. This has now been resolved.
• Multiple Assignment Support: Support has now been added to have two different technicians assigned to the same work order. Previously, the app would show technicians all the trips for a work order rather than differentiating between the various technicians assigned.

• Employee Locations Google Map Support: The Employee Location records had been using Yahoo Maps for position data. Yahoo Maps has discontinued its third-party API so this functionality has now been changed to Google Maps support.
• Accruals Setup Added: Setting up accruals used to have to be done by hhÂ² support. A new setup page has been added to the Human Resources menu to allow HR admins to create these on their own.
• Support for Synchronizing Employee Custom Fields Added: The hhÂ² Sync client now support synchronizing the employee custom fields table in Timberline. Note that this will only be functional for clients by having hhÂ² support design a custom sync query for each client, as this Timberline table has no standard naming conventions.

• Employee Misc. Fields Added to Export Format: New export fields have been added to the Integration Format setup. There are now options to export the Misc1 and Misc2 fields of the employee’s record as columns in the payroll export file.

• Sync2SQL Added: hhÂ²’s new Sync2SQL reporting utility has been added to the HR menu for HR admins. This contains the download for the Sync2SQL utility installation and software prerequisites.
• Accrual Taken Calculation Adjustment: The calculations for PTO taken used to be drawn from hhÂ² Remote Payroll time entry. This has now been changed to calculate paid time off taken directly from the year-to-date totals on the employee’s pay record in Timberline.
• Accruals Moved to “Other Pay” on Pay Stubs: Any pay on a pay stubs that decrements from an accrual (e.g. vacation or sick time taken) it will be displayed in the right-hand “Other Pay” column of the pay stub. This allows the pay to use the “Description” column to let the employees know what accrual the decrementing units were for.

• Work Order Notes Error: Adding a new work order note on the website would show an error message (though the note was still successfully being created and shown on refresh). This has now been resolved and the new note entry will appear in the list upon creation.

• Benefit Reconciliation Sync Added: There is a new button at the top-right corner of the Enterprise Benefits enrollment tab. Clicking this button will present a pop-up with four steps an HR admin can use at any time to perform a full reconciliation sync on the benefit enrollments in hhÂ². This will download all benefit enrollments from hhÂ² and overwrite any discrepancies existing in the accounting system.
• Enterprise Safety Meetings Error: Loading the Enterprise Safety Meetings page was resulting in an error. This has now been resolved.

• Purchase Order Numbers on Web: Purchase order numbers are now available for read-only viewing on the web interface.

• Equipment Prefill Issue: Clicking the “prefill” button on the equipment tab was not functioning properly. This has now been resolved.
• Job Cost Report Availability Changed: The Job Cost report has now been changed to a manual opt-in availability. By default, only the hhÂ² site “Administrator” role will have access to the report. Field users can be granted access to the report by creating a custom role with that permission.
• User Filter in Enterprise Browser: The user filter for “last edited by” in the enterprise report browser was not functioning. This has now been resolved.

• My Records Navigation Issue: In some cases, after logging in My Records users would be taken to the hh2 homepage but without navigation available to get to the My Records portal. This has now been resolved.

• Zoom Issue in Internet Explorer: When zoomed in or out using Internet Explorer, the time card would be truncated at the bottom. This issue has now been resolved.

• EEO Report Not Calculating Female Hispanics: The EEO report was displaying the counts for female Hispanics under the category of Hawaiian/Pacific. This has now been resolved.

• Payroll Admin “Override” for Locked Pay Periods: A new system setting has been added in Remote Payroll to allow payroll admins to override a locked pay period and modify time entries. This is off by default.
• Set Homepage Not Showing: The section of the navigation menu to set the currently viewed page as the user’s homepage was not being shown in recent releases. This has now been resolved.
• “Add Codes” Not Showing on Extra Daily Timecard: When viewing a daily timecard for an Extra in the Jobsite system, if no employees had been added to the extra, the “Add Codes” button would not display. This has now been resolved.

• Dispatch Map Technician List Defect: The dispatch map was listing technicians without GSP data, while the map was not. This was sometimes creating a discrepancies between the two lists of markers and numbers. This has now been resolved.

• Assigned Safety Lessons Not Opening: When clicking on assigned lessons in the Crew or Jobsite dashboard, an error would occur. This has now been resolved.
• Raise Request Including Approved Records: When viewing the enterprise Raise Requests and filtering on “Not Reviewed”, requests that had been not reviewed but approved were being included. This has been changed so only requests that are not reviewed AND not approved or declined would be listed.

• Daily Comments in PDF Timecards Defect: The daily comments would only render in the PDF timecards when grouping by jobsite. This has now been resolved.
• Daily Comments Added to Labor Detail Excel: The Excel download of the Labor Detail report now includes a column for both unit-specific comments as wall as daily comments now. This can serve to present a comments report for payroll managers.
• Extras on Labor Detail PDF: Any extras were not being displayed on the labor detail PDF due to a line-wrapping issue. Font sizes and row heights have been adjusted to allow for line wraps to a second row for extras or long code names.
• Cost Code Filter on Labor Detail Quotes Defect: If a cost code had single or double quotes in the description, the were not selectable in the labor detail report. This has now been resolved.
• Rule Violations Not Displaying in IE: Rule violations have not been displaying at the top of timecards in Internet Explorer. This has now been resolved.

• Decimals for Material Units: Creating materials entries would not allow entering decimal values. This has now been resolved.
• Decimals for Subcontractor Hours: Creating subcontractor entries would not allow entering decimal values for the hours on site. This has now been resolved.

• Inventory Sourcing: Inventory sourcing has now been incorporated into part activities on work orders. When specifying the quantity of parts used, technicians can now also specify the warehouse bin the parts came from. (This is currently only supported via the web interface. Support in the iPad app will be coming later this summer.)
• Dispatch Map Date: The dispatch map now has an additional filter for date. This will refresh the map with all the trips scheduled for that date. By default, the current day is selected.

• Enterprise Certifications Report: The Enterprise Certifications Report was displaying all active and terminated employees when selecting the “never certified” status filter. This has now been resolved.

• Downloading PDF files in Chrome: The recent Google Chrome 12 update created a problem when downloading some generated PDF reports in hh2 using Google Chrome. This has now been resolved.

• Include Extras Filter on Export Page: The check-box to include extras under a selected job had to be checked every time the page was used. This has now been made a remembered selection and will remain checked for the user.
• PDF Timecard Page Load Issue: In some scenarios, the PDF Timecard page would take upwards of a minute or two to load. This has now been resolved.
• Unspecified Time Display Issue: When using the multiple job site view on the time card, unspecified hours would be repeated for every job, rather than just appearing under the job it was coded under. This has now been resolved.

• Dispatch Map Info Bubbles: The info bubbles on map points was displaying the incorrect information when there were more than 25 entries in the list. This issue has now been resolved.
• Action Sheet Activity Order: The activities on the Action Sheet will now display in the same order as they appear in the Timberline Enterprise program. This change only affects the hh2 web site and has not yet been applied to the iPhone/iPad apps.

• Enterprise Location Report Certifications: The Enterprise Location Report was displaying all employee certifications, regardless of expiration. The report has been modified to now display the expiration dates of the certifications listed. This update also applies to the Excel and PDF versions of the report.
• Manpower Report Default Date Range: The Manpower report will now default to the date range of the current calendar week as the filters when loading the page.
• Archiving Employee Certifications Issue: Archiving an employee certification would not visually remove it from the list in Employee Records. This has now been resolved

• Defect - Changing “Charge For Work” Erring: Trying to change the “Charge for work” field on the task record was throwing an error. This has now been resolved.

• Defect - Manpower Report: The Manpower Report was not calculating date ranges properly and was only returning employees who were hired during the range specified. This has now been resolved and the report will return all employees who were employed during the date range specified.

• Date Format Option for Export: A new option has been added to the Remote Payroll settings which will determine how dates in the payroll export file should be formatted. This would be applicable to non-U.S. companies whose Timberline is configured to only accept a dd/mm/yyyy date format.

• Benefit Eligibility Report Excluding Enrolled: The Benefit Eligibility report had been including all the employees who were already enrolled. This has now been changed and all enrolled employees are excluded. This change also affects the RSS feed for the report.
• Benefit Eligibility Report Security: The enterprise Benefit Eligibility report was not taking HR security permissions into affect and was just returning all employees. This has now been resolved and only the employees a user has permissions to see will be returned. This change also affects the RSS feed for the report.
• Defect - Employee Pay Permissions: There was a very rare case scenario whereby a user could see the pay records for an employee he does not have permissions to. This would only occur if a user is a manager over multiple security groups, and has different permissions between those two groups. If the user went into the employee record, selected an employee he has pay access to, opened the employee pay tab, then changed the employee pick list to an employee he doesn't have pay access to, the pay tab would still load without verifying the proper function. This has now been resolved and the user will only see pay records for employees he has access to.

• Defect - Auto-filling Subs Not Working: In some scenarios, using the “Prefill” on the subs tab was not copying any records. This has now been resolved.

• Enterprise Certification: The Enterprise Certification interface now has a “Go” button at the top to apply all filters at once.
• Defect - My Records for Multiple Groups: Setting up the document classes to have different permissions for different security groups was not being considered by the My Records interface. This has now been resolved and group assignments will be properly limited based upon what group(s) the employee is a member of.
• Defect - Benefit Eligibility Report: The Enterprise Eligibility report was not calculating the tenure criteria properly. This has now been resolved. Also, tenure has been changed to be calculated based on number of days of employment rather than number of months.
• Defect - Enterprise Certification: Terminated employees were being displayed in the Enterprise Termination report. These have now been excluded.
• Defect - Termination Report: The lists of termination requests in the system were only returning requests submitted by the user viewing the report. This has now been resolved and all termination requests are shown.

• IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR GROUP MANAGERS: While group managers should always be properly set up by assigning their user accounts the role of "Remote Payroll - Payroll (Group Manager)", the group time card had an outstanding defect which forgave this missed step in the configuration. This has now been changed and the system forces a user to be properly granted the role for them to have access to the employees in their group. If your group time card suddenly lists "No Employees" when it didn't previously, this change is the most likely reason.
• Defect: “Retrieving Employees...” Stall: When using the all-jobs view of the job site time card, there were some situations where the “Retrieving Employees” message would display in the Employee drop-down and the page would stall. This has now been resolved and the employee drop-down should load immediately.
• Defect - View All Job Access: When using the “view all job” permission for employee self-entry in the jobsite system, users still had to be assigned a job role to at least one job first. This has now been resolved and no job role permission is necessary (you still must assign them a site role that contains the all-jobs permission). Additionally, the user no longer has to add himself to a job’s employee list. His name will automatically appear in the employee drop-down.
• Defect - Group-Specific Signatures PDF: When viewing a PDF signatures report, an error would occur if a specific group was specified in the filters. This has now been resolved.

• Defect - Archived Reports: There were several places that were being affected by archived reports existing for the day. Both the Enterprise report and calendars were not ignoring archived reports and displaying unlocked reports existing. This has now been resolved.
• Defect - Clicking on Enterprise Reports: When viewing Enterprise Reports, clicking on a report was not remembering the report that had been selected. This has now been resolved.

• Defect - “Never Certified” filter on Enterprise Certifications: The filter to view employee who have never been certified for a specific certification was not returning any results. This has now been resolved.

• Faster Labor Detail Report Generation: We have added some performance tuning indexes to the Labor Detail Report generation which should allow any report to generate within a few seconds, even for enterprise-wide reports.
• XLS/PDF Labor Detail Report: The Excel and PDF buttons on the Labor Detail Report have been moved up to the top section of the dashboard so that users can generate the Excel or PDF file without having to generate the preview of the report below first.
• Large Employee Lists in Daily Timecard: If a job or group had a large number of employees, the employee navigation bar on the Daily Timecard would extend wider than the timecard itself. This has now been resolved and if more than 50 employees exist on the job or group, the individual employee navigation will be replaced with a simple “previous” and “next” pagination.

• Job Cost Code Field on Custom Forms: In the Report Designer, a new field type is available for job cost codes. This allows you to place a cost code pick list into your custom field report forms. It will only list the cost codes available for the job the report is for.

• Read/Write Permission on Document Types: The setup for document types for the Document Library have included a permission selection for read or write access, but the read-only option was not being applied in the Document Library. This has now been resolved.
• Security Group Permission on Document Types: The security group drop-down on the document type assignments was not persisting. This has now been resolved.
• Employee Union Info Being Cleared on Sync: The download sync on employee records was always clearing out the default union fields on the employee record. This has now been resolved.

• Quick-Action Bar Added to Dash: The toolbar that originally appeared on the bottom of the Action Sheet has been redesigned and now exists as a fixed bar at the bottom of the dash, so it will be accessible from any of the Work Order tabs.
• Tax Status & Tax Group Supported: The Tax Status and Tax Group fields have now been added to supporting activity details.
• Unified Hours/Minutes Selection: Since time durations are stored as one field, it was necessary for syncing purposes to commit both the hours and minutes together. Time span fields now appear as a button which when click will present a pop-up to specify minutes and hours.
• Unified Date/Time Selection: Since date/time combinations are stored as one field, it was necessary for syncing purposes to commit both the date and the time together. Date/time fields now appear as a button which when click will present a pop-up to specify minutes and hours.
• Unit Sale Added to Labor: The Unit Sale field has now been added to the detail for labor activities.
• Cost/Billable Quantity Option: An option was created to specify whether the hours/minutes for labor activities on the action sheet get saved to the cost quantity field or the billed quantity field. (Default is cost quantity.)
• Standard Note Setup: A new menu item has been added for Standard Note Setup. This page allows admins to create the standard notes and standard note categories.
• Read-Only Closed Work Orders: When work orders have been closed in Timberline, they are no longer editable. hh2 has now been modified to enforce the same business rule.
• Service Site GPS: Functionality was added so the system looks up and records the GPS coordinates of service sites when either a trip is opened on the Work Order Dash or when work orders are viewed on the Dispatch Map.

• RFI Answers Not Syncing: The answer fields for RFIs were not syncing from Timberline to hh2. This has now been resolved.
• Results in Enterprise View Using Wrong Dates: The Enterprise View of field reports was returning reports based on the date the report was created, not necessarily the date the report was actually for. This has now been resolved.

• Batch Selectors in Chrome/Firefox: An incompatibility issue existed when trying to use batch selectors in the setup pages of Remote Payroll. This has now been resolved.

• State Pick-list in Address Book: The pick-list for state in the Address Book was not functioning correctly. This has now been resolved.

• Timecard iPhone App: A new app has been released in the iPhone App Store that allows you to quickly enter and approve payroll time. Users who experience slowness or connectivity issues are encouraged to try using this app to improve their work flows.

• Disable Slowness Alerts: A new option is available to disable the alerts that appear when a request is taking longer than 20 seconds to complete. You can set this option under “My Settings” in the management console of your hh2 Web Services home page.

• Notes Field on Employee Records: An open, large-text “Notes” field has been added to the employee records. This can be used for recording any additional information for the employee you desire.

• Character Limit in Notes Fields: Non-Internet Explorer browsers were encountering a 50 character limit on notes boxes in the various sections of Field Reports. This has now been resolved and the character limit lifted.
• Job/Extra ID on All Excel Records: The job and extra id have been added to all sub-records on the Field Report Excel downloads.
• Metric Weather Units: You can now record weather in metric units by clicking the unit button on weather entries.
• Weather Code Override: A user option has been added to Field Reports that will pull all weather statistics from a specified weather.com code and override the zip code on the jobsite of the report. You can find this code by going to weather.com and searching for your desired location. In the url of the RSS feed for that location will be a parameter called p=SOMECODE. Use this code after the “p=” to pull weather data from that location.
• Out Of Service Equipment Archived: The hh2 sync will now automatically archive all equipment whose status is set to “Out of Service”.

• Enterprise Benefits Enrollment & Report: A new tab has been added to Enterprise Benefits to show all employees enrolled in either a specified benefit, or all benefits. Also, an Excel reporting download is included.
• “Other” field on Employee Identifications Not Saving: When entering a value into the “Other” field of the employee identification record, an error would occur. This has been resolved.
• View Archived Benefit Rate Enrollments Causes Error: If viewing an employee enrollment for a benefit or rate that had been archived, an error would occur. This has now been resolved.
• Pay Stub PDF Auto Load: When viewing PDF pay stubs, the PDF will automatically load with the last 30 days of pay stubs without having to click the “Go” button.

• Rendering Separate Pages in PDF: In the previous build, the report PDF was changed this render each section on a separate page. This was done to avoid a table rendering problem. However, for users who require physically printing off the PDF, this is problematic. A new option has been added in Field Reports which by default will render reports without page breaks. Any user who encounters a problem rendering the table can switch to inserting page breaks for that particular report.
• Last Edited Date on PDF: Previously, the “last edited” dated at the top of the report was when the PDF was generated, not necessarily when the report was last edited. This has now been resolved and the date displayed will be the last edited date of the report.

• Auto-Location Assignment from Payroll: A new option has been added that will automatically assign and un-assign employees to and from jobsites based on where they have coded time to in hh2 Remote Payroll. The option determines how many days pass without any coding before un-assigning the employee from the job.
• Auto-Location Assignment from Default: A new option has been added that will automatically assign and un-assign employees to and from jobsites based on the default job field on the employee record in Timberline.
• Auto-Create Employee Classifications: A new option has been created that will automatically assign employees to classifications based on the default certified class on the employee record in Timberline. In order for the assignment to match, the name of the classification in hh2 must be identical to the description of the certified class in Timberline.
• Full Support for Employee Pay: The employee pay tab of Employee Records now supports all Timberline fields for the records.
• Deactivating Benefits Defect: Attempting to archive or deactivate enrolled benefits was generating a JavaScript error in recent versions. This has now been resolved.
• Employee Contact Defect: The “Contact” field on the employee record was being set even if there was no match on the email address field. In these cases, the first record in the address book was being selected by default. This has now been resolved and no value will be set if there is no match.
• Modifying Terminated Certifications: Previously the system did not allow you to modify certification records of terminated employees. This has now been resolved.

• Popup Positioning: The popups and pick-lists in the system have been adjusted so they appear in front of the user, wherever they are scrolled to on the screen. This has also been made cross-browser compatible for Safari on Macs and Google Chrome.
• Announcements Admin Role: The site role named “Announcements Administrator” did not have sufficient permissions to manage announcements without also being a site admin. This has now been resolved.

• Employee List on Jobsite Dashboard: The employee list for a job would not populate correctly until after a job had been selected. This has now been resolved and the employee list that first loads with the page will be complete.

• Adding Codes to Timecard Layout: In the new 4.2 skin layout, the width of the pick-lists when adding codes to timecards was sometimes extending beyond with width of the timecard. This has now been resolved.
• Labor Detail Width: If job names were exceptionally long, the width of the Labor Detail report was sometimes extending beyond with width of the window, causing users to scroll right to see the units column. This has now been resolved.

• hh2 Training Bookmarks: There are now default bookmarks in the Bookmarks menu. These will provide links to training videos on the hh2 support forums (more training videos will be coming in the near future).

• Punch Clock iPad App: Our new iPad app has been released on the iTunes App Store. This free app allows users to punch in and out of jobsites and codes from the iPad device (iPhone and iTouch support coming soon).
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Remote Payroll is now largely cross-browser compatible (IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari). This includes iOS devices like iPhones and iPads.
• Daylight Savings Adjustment: Daylight Savings was being applied one week too early resulting in punch clock times being an hour off the first week of November. This has now been resolved and time zone offset is determined based on the user’s computer upon login.
• Invalid Pay ID Rule Exclusion: When Pay ID Rules are incorrectly configured, employees would be considered to have time on the approval screen even though they may not. This has now been excluded to invalid Pay ID rules will not affect whether employees are considered to have time or not.
• Punch Clock Rounding: An option has been added to the Remote Payroll settings to round punches to the nearest 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minute increment.
• Payroll Manager Editable Punches: The system was showing punches a read-only to the payroll manager. This has now been resolved and all punches are editable to the payroll manager.

• hh2 Bookmarks: There is now a new module icon at the top of the page for Bookmarks. Here, companies can list up to 45 bookmarks to provide to their users.
• New "My User Account" Page: A new page has been created to allow users to change their password and email. This is accessible from the “Admin Console” of the hh2 Web Services homepage.
• Archived Users Defect: The system was allowing archived users to login (though they would not have access to anywhere in the system). This has now been resolved and the login page will reject archived users.
• EULA Agreement Popup: When signing in for the first time and being presented with the EULA, the user would have to sign in a second time before proceeding. This has now been resolved.

• PDF Not Printing When Attachments Exist: If historical PDFs of reports (i.e. prior to v4.01.010) were being generated, attachments existing on the report would make the PDF generation fail. This has now been resolved.
• Cross-Browser Compatible Pick Lists: All pick list popups in hh2 Field Reports are now supported in all browsers.

• PDF Pay Stubs Not Opening: There was an issue with attempting to render PDF pay stubs when no company name and address had been supplied in the site options. This has now been resolved to not create an error, but companies will still need to provide their information for the pay stubs to be accepted as official documentation by financial institutions.
• Unable to Create iButtons: Creating new iButton records was failing. This has now been resolved.
• Unable to Assign Safety Lessons to All Jobs/Crews: Creating new assignments of safety lessnos to "All Jobsites and Crews" was failing. This has now been resolved.

• Unable to Import TimePilot IN Punch Data: When importing punch data from a TimePilot device, IN punches were being rejected. This has now been resolved.

hh2 Web Services v4.2!

hh2 Web Services Customer,

As we have concluded our customer satisfaction surveys, it is clear that our customers are happy with the hh2 Web Services platform. Many have requested additional features and for the most part, we have been able to deliver those features in a timely manner. In the past three years, we have produced a new version of hh2 Remote Payroll and released hh2 Field Reports, hh2 Human Resources, and hh2 Field Service. We have an iPhone/iPad app currently available for HR and have many other Web/iPhone/iPad projects currently in the works.

We have come to the point where we need to start upgrading the platform in order to keep the solution moving forward. Also, we are working on the next generation Remote Payroll system and we need to roll out some platform changes in preparation of its release.

One of the first platform changes we are making is the rollout of a new skin for the solution. That means the aesthetics will change drastically while the functionality will not. This new skin will be applied to all of our customer’s websites once they are moved to the latest build. The ability to have custom skins has been removed. This will guarantee a consistent user experience and cross browser functionality.

• Hashed User Passwords: All user passwords are now stored as a hash in the database. This provides an additional layer of security to client data.
• Image Thumbnail Caching: All media thumbnails are now cached which provides for serving content faster.
• Auto-Resize on Images: All images uploaded to hh2 will automatically be downsized if they are larger than 1200 x 1200 pixels.

• Auto-Add Subs Defect: On the Visitors tab, if the selected company was not already assigned to the jobsite, the record creation would err. This has been resolved and the company selected will be auto-assigned to the job's sub list.

• Equipment PDF Timecards: The Equipment PDF Timecard interface would not return any equipment ready for reporting. This has now been resolved.
• Equipment Data Web Service: A publically consumable XML web service has been added which allows users to create an Excel spreadsheet pulling live up-to-date equipment time from hh2.

To setup an excel file like this (this will require Office 2007 or greater) you just open a new spreadsheet, go to the Data tab, click “From Web” in the Get External Data section. • Configurable Employment Type Pick-List: The Employment Type field on Employee Records is now a user-configurable pick list. You can add/edit/delete values in this list by going to Human Resources > Setup > Employment Types.
• New Sync Data Classes: The data classes in the Sync Client have been further categorized. There is now additionally "HR - Employee Pay", "HR - Employee Pay Stubs" and "HR - Secure Information" (which handles syncing of employee's social security numbers. NOTE: These are not checked by default so if you currently manage social security numbers, employee pay, or upload paystubs to hh2 Human Resources, you will need to check the appropriate boxes in your sync client (Upload tab, Download tab, and Settings tab) or they will no longer sync for you.

• No Activity Cost Code Fix: A vulnerability in the data validation of the Activities tab as allowing records to be created with production units specified but no job cost code selected. This is invalid according to Timberline requirements and would cause reports to fail when syncing into Timberline. This has now been resolved and Field Reports will not accept production units without a job cost code first being selected.

• I-9 Non-Compliance RSS Feed: A new RSS Feed has been added that will notify you of all employees to which you have HR Identifications access whenever an employee is currently not I-9 compliant, or is about to become non-compliant in the next 30 days. You can subscribe to this RSS feed either in the Employee Records Identifications section or in the RSS Feeds page in hh2 Human Resources.
• Enterprise Certifications Expiring Filter: Additional criteria has been added to the status filter of the Enterprise Certifications interface. The list now contains values for "Expiring in 30 days", "Expiring in 60 Days", and "Expiring in 90 Days". These will show you employees whose certifications are about to expire in order to work proactively to get them re-certified.
• Enterprise Certifications Update Defect: Updating records in the Enterprise Certifications interface was not persisting. This has now been resolved.

• Sync Log RSS: There is now an RSS feed available for administrators to see daily summaries and be notified of sync issues. In addition to reporting on all your successful syncs, this feed will also report both on records that have failed to sync as well as notify you if no sync has run for an entire day. This would be an indication that if you have an auto-sync running, it is currently experiencing problems (such as an out-of-date Timberline password) and needs to be immediately checked to avoid any problems. It is strongly recommended that all administrators of hh2 Remote Payroll or hh2 Human Resources subscribe to this feed. It can be found on the homepage of your hh2 Web Services website at the bottom of the "hh2 Web Services RSS Feeds" section.
• Right-Hand Side Screen Truncation Issue: On small monitors, there are some interfaces that may get truncated and not render in the browser. This has been fixed for users of IE8, though still remains for users of IE7.

• Report Type Defect: In some scenarios, the Report Type of a Field Report would not persist to the record. This has now been resolved.
• Responsible Party Defect: When setting a Responsible Party on an Activity record, the sync into timberline was attempting to sync a contact, but Timberline only supports a company. So even though this field is a contact in hh2 (for extended information), when the report is synced into Timberline, the record will only list the contact's parent company.

• Expiring Certifications Notifications RSS: There is now an RSS feed available on the Enterprise Certifications interface. Subscribing to this feed will allow HR administrators to be notified when employee certifications are about to expire (HR security settings still apply to determine which employees they are notified on). • EEO Types: The EEO report was missing several types found on the official government survey form. These have now been added to the report.

• Finalized Activities Defect: It was discovered that after a report has been finalized in Timberline, it is no longer possible to make any additions, changes or deletions to activity information. This is because Timberline posts this data to Job Cost upon finalization. Because of this, hh2 now permanently locks down the Activities tab once a report has been finalized. Un-finalizing the report will not re-enable the Activities.
• Jobless Report Defect: There has been a defect that allowed a user in some scenarios to create a field report with no job selected. This has now been resolved.

• Punch In/Out Defect: Using the web interface "In/Out" punch clock was creating a new punch pair for every punch rather than appending "out" punches to previous "in" punches. This has now been resolved.
• Labor Detail Report Job Grouping: When grouping the Labor Detail Report by jobsite, occasionally time record from other jobsites would appear. This has now been resolved.

• Login Redirects: When clicking on links in email notifications (e.g. weekly labor detail report notifications), if the user was not already logged in, the redirect would lose information contained in the query string of the URL. This has now been resolved.

• Archived Jobs on Time Approval: The Time Approval interface will now hide archived jobs in the summary list on the right-hand side. As a reminder, jobs are automatically archived in hh2 when the jobs status in Timberline is set to "completed".

• Better Password Retrieval: The login screen for hh2 Web Services now features a section for users who have forgotten their login credentials. They can enter their email address (this has to be an email address that is associated with an active user account) and it will send an email to that address containing a link to click for resetting the user's password.
• Change Requests: Accepting employee change requests was not persisting to the employee's record. This has now been resolved.
• Employee Batch Selector: The employee batch selector found on several HR interfaces including training invitations and enterprise certifications was erring when loading its lists. This has now been resolved.

• Ajax Memory Leak Plugged: When using AJAX in the Remote Payroll system (specifically the timecard), there has always been a memory leak in that every AJAX request (e.g. loading of a timecard, entering time, changing employees, jobsites, approving, etc.) would be kept in the user's RAM. After time, this could slow the user's computer until they refresh the browser page to clear the allocated memory. This has now been resolved and AJAX requests will be purged from memory as soon as they have completed. For users on older machines with under 2 GB of RAM, this should provide a much higher performing experience.

• Prefill Popups: Clicking on the "Prefill" buttons in the Labor and Equipment tabs were erring. This has now been resolved.

• Document Library Email Notifications: There are now two types of email notifications built into the Document Library. When adding a document to an employee's folder, that employee will be emailed with a notification of the new file. Additionally, the document class setup now has a field called "Notification". Here you can enter a distribution list email address so that whenever you add documents to the global library under that class (such as company newsletters), it will send a notification email to that distribution list.

• And/Or Search of Employment Applicant Classifications The Employment Center search now allows specifying whether you want to search classifications on an “and” basis or an “or” basis.
• Employee Evaluation Delete Defect: Attempting to delete an existing evaluation on the Employee Record interface was erring. This has now been resolved.

• Session Issue In the 4.00.031 build, If a user was in the Remote Payroll module, the “Logout” link would not display. This was related to a user session compatibility issue between the new .NET code base of hh2 Web Services and the classic asp code base of Remote Payroll. This has now been resolved.
• Homepage Issue In the 4.00.031 build, the user homepage redirect was not being followed due to the session issue listed above.
• Home Tab Issue In recent builds, the “Home” tab on the top menu of hh2 Web Services was not showing in the .NET modules. This has now been resolved.
• Popup Box Issue On smaller monitors, sometimes opening a popup box would jitter the browser window if the popup box was partially off screen. This has now been resolved.

• Code Descriptions in Payroll Tab The new Payroll tab was only showing the Timberline IDs to preserve space. The request to have this also display the description was made and added to both the Payroll tab as well as the Payroll data in the PDF and XLS version.
• Pay ID Codes in Payroll Tab The new Payroll tab of Field Reports was only returning the hh2 Web Services “Abbreviation” for a Pay ID. The functionality has been added to default to the Timberline code if no abbreviation has been added.
• Defect: Custom Questions PDF If the answer to a select dropdown in the custom questions tab was changed, the PDF printout of that field report would sometimes fail. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Payroll Tab Not Displaying All Records It was discovered that the new payroll tab in Field Reports was only reporting current and un-exported time. This was fixed so that exported time will also be returned.
• Defect: Custom Question Changes Not Shown in PDF There was an issue whereby if changes were made to a custom question answer, the PDF was not reflecting the new value and was only showing the original answer. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Materials Creating a materials record was erring in builds 4.00.027 or later. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Report Browser XLS Button The Excel button in the enterprise Report Browser interface was not working correctly. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: CM Selectors In the 4.00.031 build, the contact and company selectors in Field Reports were saving correctly, but not displaying the name in the box after making the selection. This has now been resolved.

• Separate Start/End Date Selectors on Employee Paystubs The “Paystubs” tab of Employee Records and My Documents has had its date range selector broken out into a start and end date selector allowing for easier entry of the dates desired. It also indirectly resolves a common issue that has persisted where sometimes selecting a date range threw a JavaScript error in the browser.
• Defect: Paystubs PDF In the 4.00.031 release, the PDF paystubs were erring when rendering. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Employment Applicant Attachments The system was erring when attempting to upload an attachment to an applicant’s record.
• Defect: Employee Occupation In the previous build, the “Occupation” field wasn’t committing to the database. While that was resolved, the interface wasn’t returning the value in future instances. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Applicant Rolodex The rolodex above the applicant list in Employment Center was not working correctly for systems with over 500 applicants. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Safety Lesson Attachments The safety lesson setup was erring when attempting to upload attachments. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Employee Certification Creating a new certification record in Employee Records was erring out in recent builds. This has now been resolved.
• Defect: Photo Uploads Some of the file uploads in recent builds were having issues. They have now been replaced with a new control.

• Legal Agreement for Signatures On the hh2 Desktop Client’s signature interface, a custom option has been added to allow users to specify legal text (ex: “By signing this, I acknowledge that”) that will be displayed on the screen when an employee signs his name.
• Defect: Desktop Client UTC Offset On the hh2 Desktop Client’s punch clock, if the device lost its network connectivity, the application would lose its time zone and upon export to hh2 Web Services would apply the wrong UTC offset. This has now been resolved and all times stored in the database are stored as local time values, regardless of the time zone they originated.

• Defect: Copy Time with Cert. Class When using the “Copy Time” button in builds 4.00.024 and later, when also selecting to copy codes to the destination timecard, it was neglecting to copy over certified class settings to the codes. This has now been resolved.

• Defect: Login Loop Some users on later builds were experiencing issues when logging in if they had their user homepage set to a page in Remote Payroll. This has now been resolved.

This release was a “strategic” release which saw its focus on continuing to develop the new .NET rebuild of hh2 Remote Payroll. There were however a fair number of defect fixes which were prioritized and inserted into this release.

• Equipment Prefill Cost Codes The recently added feature allowing users to specify a whitelist of cost codes to only prefill equipment time for has been upgraded to a limitless textarea field. This will support clients who require entering in a large list of codes.

• Defect: Calendar Showing Unfinalized Reports In the monthly calendar view of the Field Report header, days would show as having unfinalized reports if there were unfinalized reports for that day on any jobsite. This has been resolved to only reflect the currently selected jobsite.

• Defect: State/Country/Contact Selectors In hh2 Human Resources versions 4.00.027 to 4.00.029, the state, country, and contact selectors on the Employee Info tab of Employee Records were not functioning properly. This has now been resolved.

• Defect: “Enroll” Button of Enterprise Benefits The “Enroll” button that appears for eligible employees in Enterprise Benefits was not properly redirecting to the Employee Record page and Benefits tab, prefilled with the selected benefit. This has now been resolved.

• Defect: Syncing Jobsite Employees in the hh2 Desktop Client In the hh2 Desktop Client, payroll group employees were syncing correctly, but jobsite employees were not. This issue has now been resolved.

• Defect: Signature Pad PDF Report in the hh2 Desktop Client The PDF report that lists employee signatures gathered using the hh2 Desktop Client was not handling the payroll group filter properly. This has now been resolved.

• Defect: Adding Certified Classes to Timecards In the latest version numbers of hh2 Remote Payroll, when a payroll manager attempted to add certified classes to an employee’s timecard, it would add the associated job cost or general ledger but miss the certified class. This has now been resolved.

• On-Going Development: Safety Meetings The new Safety aspect of Human Resources is continuing to be developed. This release saw the initial development of the Safety Meeting interfaces which will include scheduling safety lessons to be held on jobsites as the Jobsite and Crew Dashboard interfaces to record safety meetings held. The beta release of this section of Human Resources should be available in the next few months.

• Defect: Adding Cost Codes to Equipment Timecards In the situation where a payroll group had its code configuration to allow “All Job Cost Codes” or “All GL Accounts”, Equipment timecards were not reflecting the allowance when adding codes to the card. This was because the “All Codes” functionality of payroll group access was a feature added after equipment time had already been built. The equipment time module has now been updated to reflect this configuration.

• Defect: Pay ID Group Default The select dropdown at the top of the timecards for Pay ID Group was no remembering its last selection and would reset to the first group in the list every time the timecard was loaded. This has been resolved and the Pay ID Group dropdown will now remember its last used setting.

• Labor Prefill Pay IDs Due to the engineering of Field Reports by Timberline, the prefill button on the labor tab was only considering time coded to the “Regular” or “Overtime” Pay IDs. If no time had been entered to either Pay ID (such as all vacation time for the week being entered) the prefill would not pull anything. This functionality has been improved to prefill all time into the notes for the labor entry but then leave the “Regular” and “Overtime” values at zero.

• Labor Employee Selector The Employee Selector on the Labor tab has been updated to a newer version of the employee select control which allows the “All Employees” option for clients who do not use Remote Payroll or Human Resources to assign employees to jobsites.

• Defect: Jobsite Contacts The Job Assignments interface of Contact Management was not refreshing the display when changing to a different jobsite. This has now been resolved. These assignments are what determine what companies (subs) show up in the Field Reports Company selectors.

In an effort to balance priorities between long-term and short-term needs of our customers, DBI has implemented an alternating release schedule between “strategic” and “tactical” releases. This week’s “strategic” release focused on new development of the Remote Payroll rebuild. As such, the number of notes on these “strategic” sprints will be light, but we will include information to let everyone know what progress is being made.

• Defect: Date Range Selector The date range selector popup was occasionally failing due to an intermittent JavaScript error. This has been resolved.

• Ongoing Remote Payroll .NET Development The .NET rebuild of the Remote Payroll product has continued during this past release. The prototype now has a completed database model, a business tier is well underway, and the majority of the Remote Payroll setup interfaces have been completed. These setups will allow online access to adding, editing, and deleting all “codes” in the Timberline database (which feature two-way syncing of changes back to the Timberline database). “Codes” refers to all jobs, extras, job costs, equipment, equipment costs, general ledger accounts, departments, certified classes, shifts, unions, union locals, union classes, and Pay IDs.

• Safety Curriculum A new Safety Curriculum system and setup has been created. The first stage of this new feature contains the management interface to create safety lessons, list discussion points for the lesson, and upload attachments with captions. All aspects of the new system also feature multi-lingual support.

• Timberline Year-To-Date Import hh2 has now added year-to-date totals to the Sync Tool. This is the first step in building formal support for accrual time (vacation/sick/etc.) into the Remote Payroll and Human Resources modules.

• Defect: Global Documents in Job/Crew Dash Files marked as “global” in the Document Library of Human Resources were not showing on the jobsite and crew dashboards. This has now been resolved.

• Subcontractor Trades Normalized Subcontractor Trades have now been added to the hh2 Sync Tool and the “Trade” field on the Subcontractors tab of Field Reports has been changed from a text box to a select dropdown with a list of all the Timberline sub trades. This will then properly sync back into Timberline and appear on their Field Reports data.

• Defect: Changing Custom Tab Possible Answers When changing the possible answers for Custom Tab questions in field reports, the system will now archive the original answer and create a new answer with the updated value. This will allow historical data to be preserved on prior reports.

• Enrolling Eligible Benefits In the benefit eligibility tab of Employee Records, when clicking the “Enroll” button, the interface will redirect to the enrollment interface and automatically pre-populate with all the necessary information.

• Employee Title & Occupation The Timberline fields of Title and Occupation have now been incorporated into the Employee Records.

• Canadian Regulations To be in accordance with Canadian HR regulations, there is now an application option in HR allowing a company to remove the Gender and Ethnicity fields from Employee Records.

• Enterprise Pay Primary Classification Filter The Enterprise Pay interface now has an additional filter to only include employee’s primary classification. This prevents the possibility of the calculations being skewed.

• Default Employee Record Tabs The default setting for which Employee Records tabs are used has been changed to include all of them.

• PDF Signatures Report The PDF report to print off all employee signatures uploaded from the hh2 Desktop Client’s signature pad has been beta released.

• Equipment Prefill Cost Codes A new application option has been added that will allow a company to specify a list (separated by commas) of specific cost codes that will then be used as a limit of which units the Equipment Prefill from Remote Payroll pulls from.

• Defect: Updating Subcontractors Changing the company of an existing Subcontractor entry was not saving. This has now been resolved.

• Offline Windows Desktop Client Beta Released hh2 Remote Payroll now offers a beta release windows desktop client that provides offline functionality for punch in/out timekeeping. The desktop client then syncs all data back to the online Remote Payroll database when an internet connection is available. Future functionality of this tool will provide for regular timecard entry as well.

• Equipment ID in Export The Equipment Description field in the export file was displaying both the id of the equipment and the description. Since the equipment ID is also shown in another column this was redundant and taking up extra space, so it was been removed and only the description will display in the description column.

• Defect: Syncing Subcontractors The Timberline sync of Field Reports was not grabbing the Trade and Notes fields. This has now been fixed.

• Defect: Archived Custom Tabs Showing Custom tabs that had been archived were still showing up in the interface. This has now been fixed.

• Field Report Browser Author Filter A filter labeled “Edited By” that will bring up all field reports that were contributed to by the specified hh2 Web Services user.

• Field Report Browser PDF The results of the Field Report Enterprise Browser can now be downloaded as a PDF report for printing. This can be accessed via the PDF icon in the upper-right corner of the Field Report Enterprise Browser interface.

• Defect: Updating Field Report Subcontractors The most recent versions of Field Reports was not updating changes made to existing subcontractor records. This has now been fixed.

• Contact/Employee Association In order to maintain some of the Timberline database relations in the hh2 system, an association is now shown between employee records in HR and contact records in CM. The hh2 sync tool will import these relationships into hh2 automatically but they also can be set manually under the “Employee Information” tab of HR Employee Records or in the Contact Management Address book.

• Employee Certification Attachments The “Certifications” tab under Employee Records in HR now contains an attachment field for uploading scans of documents relating to that specific certification.

• Punch In/Out Separation The punch clock entries on the hh2 Remote Payroll timecard now allows manually specifying whether a new punch is an “In” punch or an “out” punch.

• Defect: Unit-Specific Comments The unit-specific comments in hh2 Remote Payroll were not saving when being created at the payroll manager level. This has now been fixed.

• Defect: “All Groups” Approval List Not Limiting The list of employees shown on the approval screen in hh2 Remote Payroll was not being limited to only the users groups. This has now been fixed.

• Defect: Payroll Manager Promoting Time In hh2 Web Services versions 4.00.022 and above, clicking the “Promote Time” button at the payroll manager level was not promoting the time. This has now been fixed.

• Redesigned Homepage The homepage of hh2 Web Services has been redesigned to prominently feature the new hh2 RSS feeds and display the release notes for the most recent version as well as inform the user what version they are currently on.

• Company Logos in .Net System The company logos will now appear in the upper-left corner when in Field Reports or HR.

• HR Lecture Invitations The invitation component to the upcoming HR Lecture application has been released for beta testing. This application will allow creating lectures and schedule sessions for any sort of HR meetings, trainings, etc. The invitation component lets users specify which employees in the company can attend and email them a registration link to confirm and to select from choices of session times available (if applicable).

• Defect Fixed: HR Security Group Employees The interface to select which employees belong to an HR security group was only displaying non-archived employees. For employees who had been terminated prior to a company’s using the hh2 HR product, terminated employees would not display in order to process rehires.

• Defect Fixed: Employee Select in FR Events The Employee selector in the Events tab of Field Reports had not been working in recently released versions.

• Defect Fixed: Homepage Setting in .Net Modules The “Set as My Homepage” icon at the bottom of the side menus had not yet been implemented in the .Net modules of Field Reports and HR. This has now been activated.

• Defect Fixed: Weather Tab as Default in FR In Field Reports, the weather tab was always the default tab to load when creating new reports, even when the weather section had been disabled in the settings. This has been fixed and Field Reports will load the first enabled tab available by default instead.

• WAP-Compliant Punch In/Out. Any WAP-compliant cell phone (this should include any cell phone with a web browser) can now perform basic punch in/out. • New Module: Accounts Payable

o The Credit Card Transaction Coding interface has been completed. Major feature upgrades to this are:

• Coding Defaults This button in the top left corner of the transaction list allows you to specify a default Job/Job Cost Code/GL Account/Equipment/Equipment Cost Code. After setting these, when coding a distribution, as soon as you select what code type you want “JC/GL/EC” it will automatically apply the default and save. The user can always change it after the save to something else if they want.

• Approval Paths This feature is incredibly complex and far beyond even the complexity of Remote Payroll’s system. So, I’ll let Devon explain this. The actual approval functionality will not be supported in this prototype release, but approving a transaction will visually disappear from the interface at least when the final post-QA release of this build is made).

• Additional Info/Receipts Each transaction (when expanded by clicking on it) has an “Info” button which will open a popup and allow a user to upload a scanned receipt, enter transaction-level comments, or fill out one of three available custom text fields.

• Memorization/Prefill When a transaction is expanded, a button called “Memorize” is available. This will save the distribution jobs/codes/accounts and proportionate dollar amounts so that in the future, by clicking on the “Prefill” button in the top right corner of the transaction list, all uncoded transactions for the same merchant will have the same splitting/coding/and amount ratios applied and saved.

• Transaction Search This tab allows a user to search for transactions based on various filters and keywords searches.

• On-Demand Transaction List The list of transactions in the UI will only load the first 20 records. After that as the user scrolls down, the scrollbar will momentarily turn yellow as it loads another 20 records and appends them to the bottom and so forth.

• On-Demand Selectors Job, Cost Code, GL Account selectors have all been rebuilt with on-demand scrolling. This means it doesn’t matter if a company has 60,000 active GL accounts, the selector will only popup with the first 50 and then load more as the user scrolls down. Eventually they will learn to just use the keyword search. In addition, the search box has been added to the top of the popup so that you can search from both the original selector box in the interface or directly in the popup. This also allows you to change a keyword search after the popup has opened. NOTE: Job groups have been eliminated at this point. Since very few clients actually use job grouping, and with the added searchability and on-demand scrolling of the new job selectors, we are going to try it without grouping to see if we can get away with it. ALSO the new job selector in AP has advanced searching functionality. To search for a job/extra combination, a user would specify the following context “J: 001.212 E: 008” The “J:” and “E:” syntax tells the search the keyword following it is just to search jobs with or just to search extras with. (this aspect is not completely finished but will be by the final post-QA release of this build)

• New Module: Contact Management

o Address Book. This interface allows a user to navigate and manage companies, contacts, and locations to/from their Timberline address book. This offers several filters to search on as well. (Please note that as of right now, all contacts/companies are considered “Active” in hh2 while we work out a syncing issue with Timberline’s address book. This should be resolved next week or so. When resolved, ONLY active companies/contacts will appear in Contact or Company selectors in FR and elsewhere. However, all will still be accessible in the Address Book via the “Status” filter, and users and activate or deactivate companies and contacts directly in hh2.)

o Job Assignments (a.k.a. Sublists). This interface allows users to assign what companies/contacts are involved with specific jobs. These lists determine who shows up in the “Included List” of Company and Contact selectors in Field Reports.

• Field Report Permissions. Access to RFI, Submittals, and Job Cost reports have been separated into individual functions for customization. By default, standard FR roles will STILL include these. If a client wants to limit the functionality, they will need to create custom FR roles. (the defect with editing custom roles has also been fixed).

• Punch Time Reconciliation Warnings. This is a feature that is OFF by default but can be activated in the Remote Payroll application global settings. When enabled, if the total amount of coded hours for an employee is different from the number of punched hours, the total box for the day will be highlighted.

• Field Reports Batch “All Report Types”. An choice was added in the Field Report Batch report to print a PDF/XLS of all report types rather than having to specify one.

• Benefit Enrollment Archive Choice. When clicking on the “X” button to archive a benefit enrollment in HR Employee Records, a prompt will appear asking if you want to deactivate fringes and deductions in Timberline or ignore it. What this means is that if a user selects deactivate, it will set the “Auto” field of all fringe and deduction records for that enrollment to false, set the expiration date to today, and sync back to Timberline. If the user chooses to “ignore” then it simply archives the enrollment in the hh2 system without any syncing activity to Timberline. In effect, this indicates that the user does not wish to manage this enrollment in hh2 but will only manage it in Timberline.
